Transferring Dart and Center Front Lines
- On the wrong side, transfer the dart lines and the center front line from the pattern; if necessary, you can place a hand stitch along the center line so it is not lost during the sewing process.

Pinning and Stitching Darts
- Pin the darts along the marked line. Stitch the darts on the front pieces, securing the stitching at the beginning and end of the seam.

Pressing the Darts
- Press the dart upwards. Carefully press the dart point flat using a suitable pressing ham or pressing cushion for WHT (Wet Heat Treatment).

Wet Heat Treatment (WHT)
- Wet heat treatment is performed using the tip of the iron with steam (if the material allows) and smoothed out with circular motions.

Attaching the Facing
- Pin or baste the facing according to the diagram. Place a temporary machine stitch with the maximum stitch length. Remove the pins. Press lightly.

Preparing the Facing
- Fold the facing in half and press it lightly. If the material is thin, the facing can be interfaced completely or partially with fusible material if necessary.

Stitching the Back Seam (French Seam)
- Lay the pieces wrong sides together, and pin. Place a stitch on the right side of the back piece at a distance of 4–5 mm from the edge, with backstitches at the beginning and end of the stitching line. Press the allowances open, and then press them flat (to the edge). It is important that the allowances do not get caught under stitching 2 (see diagram 1).

Stitching Shoulder Seams
- Stitch the shoulder seams using a French seam, similar to the back. Press the seams toward the front piece.

Overlocking Edges
- Serge/Overlock the raw edges of the armhole and neckline, and the edge of the front opening (placket/facing). You can insert silicone tape into the overlock stitching, which can be basted or stitched on the machine with a temporary stitch beforehand. Alternatively, you can use a special overlocker foot.

Stitching Side Seams
- Similar to the back, stitch the shoulder and side seams using a French seam. It is important to ensure that the allowances are enclosed within the stitching so they do not protrude on the right side. Press the side seam allowances toward the back.

Sewing Buttonholes and Final WHT
- Sew the buttonholes along the marked line using a special foot or by hand. Perform the final wet heat treatment (WHT) of the finished garment.
