Gather the top skirt

  1. Then you will need to gather the top part of the skirt (from the "Upper details" set) onto the bottom part along the waist line. Tip: To make an even gather at the waist, use a hand needle and thread, place the waist allowance of the top skirt on the needle and thread and pull it to the required length (tie a knot at the end of the thread so that it does not slip).

Step 2: Assemble the belt

  1. To assemble the belt, you need to connect the belt parts from the Bottom details and Upper details kits together. You need to assemble the upper belt onto the lower belt along two seams: The top belt must be gathered to 6 cm. The belts must be connected along all seams, having previously left a small opening for turning, then process the seams with a zigzag/overlock. Then the 2 gathered belts must be turned inside out so that the seams remain inside.

Also, using the method specified above, gather the gathers along the neckline of the upper parts to the required length. Do not forget to gather the bottom of the bodice in the same way, there is a gather along the bottom of the upper parts.

Step 5: Sleeve

  1. Attention! The sleeve is gathered only in the area between the two specified points. This area is gathered up to 16 cm. On the back - up to 7.5 cm, on the front up to 8 cm. There is no gathering at the bottom of the sleeve cap! After gathering, make sure that it is uniform. Join the sleeve along the side seam. Connect the cuffs together, not forgetting the buttons and seam finishing. Turn the cuff inside out and iron it, then add the fittings. Don't forget to finish the sleeve opening with bias binding!
