1. Pattern Tracing and Interfacing
- According to the diagram below, trace the pattern pieces onto the lining/facing. After tracing, transfer the seam lines from the pattern pieces using chalk or a disappearing fabric marker. Apply fusible interfacing or stabilizer to the outer stand (collar stand) and facing as indicated.

2. Stitching and Overlocking the Facing
- Stitch precisely along the marked line using thread that matches the main fabric. Overlock the edges of the facing and the lower edge of the inner stand. Make a straight cut, stopping 1.5-2 cm short of the stitching line.

3. Attaching the Lower Stand
- Attach the lower stand to the facing on the overlocker, simultaneously overlocking the lower edge of the inner stand. Stitch from the facing side. Press the seam allowances toward the facing.

6. Attaching the Upper Stand
- Position the upper stand with the right side against the right side of the garment. Pin or baste, aligning the notches. Stitch with an overlock. Press the seam allowances toward the stand.

5. Sewing Armhole Seams
- Sew the armhole seams on the back and front, aligning all notches. Press the seam allowances toward the sleeve.

4. Stitching Shoulder Darts
- Stitch the darts along the shoulder seam. Remove the overlocker chain thread using a crochet hook. Sew an additional stitch at the end of the dart, securing at both the beginning and the end, stitching precisely in the overlock seam to prevent the threads from unraveling. Press the dart toward the back. Press the dart tip carefully.

6. Zipper Placement and Notching
- Place the zipper with the right side against the previously stitched seam line, and attach the lower edge of the zipper, securing the beginning and end of the stitching. Make notches according to the diagram below. Do not cut 2 mm into the corners.

7. Stitching the Zipper
- Fold the zipper to the right side and align the garment front edge with the zipper edge. Pin or baste in place. Stitch the zipper from the front piece side, precisely following the previously stitched line. The top of the zipper should not be caught in the collar facing seam to avoid bulk. Position the top zipper tooth 3 mm below the seam allowance basting line.

9. Joining the Collar Stands
- Position the lower stand on top of the upper stand and stitch along the upper edge of the collar. Press the seam allowances toward the lower stand. Topstitch 1–2 mm from the seam, directing the allowances toward the lower stand. Check the collar width near the zipper and adjust if the width is uneven after closing the zipper.

8. Aligning and Stitching the Second Zipper Half
- Transfer the collar seam alignment mark to the second half of the zipper. Place the zipper edge against the front piece edge, right sides together. Fold the top edge of the zipper as done on the left side, making sure to align the zipper mark with the collar seam. Pin or baste in place, then stitch the right side of the zipper. Check the collar seam—when the zipper is closed, the left and right sides should match.

11. Securing Facing Allowances
- Secure the upper facing seam allowances to the armhole seam allowances by hand or machine.

10. Finishing the Facing and Corners
- Fold the seam allowances according to Diagram 1 and stitch precisely along the previously stitched line on the facing. The corner in Diagram 2 can be carefully hand-stitched or machine-stitched, aligning with the previously stitched line.

13. Hemming and Final Pressing
- Turn under the hem allowances of the sleeve and garment, and baste. Stitch on a flatlock machine from the right side of the garment, with the left needle running close to the lower edge. Remove basting threads or pins and press the hem of the garment and sleeves. Press the finished garment.

12. Sewing Side and Sleeve Seams
- Fold the garment with the right side in. Align the notches and the sleeve seam, matching the side edges of the front and back with the sleeve edges, and secure with pins. Stitch the side seams and sleeve seams on an overlocker in a single row from the front side, removing pins as you go. Press the side seam allowances toward the back.
