Coverstitched hem
A professional hem finish for knit fabrics that allows the hem to stretch without breaking threads.
Where it is used
Hemming
p. 10- Stitch along the bottom hem of the T-shirt using a coverstitch machine. If you don’t have a coverstitch machine, you can serge the raw edges first and then sew the hem on a regular sewing machine. Pull the thread tails on the wrong side through the coverstitch using a hook.
