Finishing the armhole edges with a 4.0 cm wide folded cuff, sewn and serged.
Where it is used
Cuff Preparation - Pinning Ring
p. 8- Pin the cuff edges into a ring, right sides together.
Cuff Preparation - Sewing Ring
p. 8- Sew the cuff edges into a ring. Seam allowance: 1.0 cm.
Attaching Cuffs - Stitching
p. 9- Stitch the cuffs to the sleeve hem and serge at the same time on a 4-thread overlock. Seam allowance: 0.7 cm. Using a hook, tuck the serger tails into the coverstitch from the wrong side.
Step 29
p. 17- Fold the cuffs in half, wrong sides together, towards the hoodie.
Step 30
p. 17- Divide the upper edge of the cuff and the lower edge of the sleeve into 4 equal parts and pin them together, right sides facing. The cuff seam aligns with the bottom sleeve seam.
Step 31
p. 18- Stitch the cuffs in place on the overlocker in the round.
