Cup lining
An inner layer of fabric sewn to the bodice cup to cleanly finish raw edges and add structure.

1. Preparing the Front Panel: Step 1.5
p. 8- Assemble the gathering stitch to the size specified on the cup template, then distribute the ease evenly across the entire assembly area.

p. 8- Pin the ruffle to the edges of the cup from the front side along the perimeter (excluding the side edge), aligning the edges and notches on the ruffle with the protrusions on the cup. Place the rounded edge of the ruffle on the armhole edge of the cup, stepping back 1.0 cm from the side edge.

p. 12- Pin the edge of the strap to the upper edge of the bodice cup, laying it over the stitched ruffle and aligning the strap edges with those of the ruffle and cup.
