Where it is used
Finishing Bottom Hem
p. 6- Hem the bottom of the T-shirt using a coverstitch machine, or a twin needle if you prefer. As you sew, make sure the basting line stays centered between the two needles. Press to finish.

24. Stitch hems
p. 11- Use a flatlock machine to stitch along the hem of the sleeve and the bottom of the dress. If you don’t have a flatlock machine, finish the raw edges and then stitch using a regular sewing machine. Hide the thread tails on the wrong side with a hook.

Step 23: Stitching hem
p. 9- Stitch the hem of the top using a flatlock machine. Turn the thread ends to the wrong side and tuck them into the seam allowance using a crochet hook.
