  1. Hem the bottom of the T-shirt using a coverstitch machine, or a twin needle if you prefer. As you sew, make sure the basting line stays centered between the two needles. Press to finish.

  1. Use a flatlock machine to stitch along the hem of the sleeve and the bottom of the dress. If you don’t have a flatlock machine, finish the raw edges and then stitch using a regular sewing machine. Hide the thread tails on the wrong side with a hook.
