Inseam stretching
Using an iron to gently stretch the back inseam until its length matches the front inseam before stitching.
Where it is used
Sewing the Inseams
p. 2- Turn the shorts legs inside out. Match the inseam edges, right sides facing in. Serge along the seam, sewing from the back piece side. Press the seam, then press the allowances toward the front piece.

Hemming the Shorts
p. 5- With the shorts turned right side out, sew a topstitch along the bottom edge, 0.5 cm from the hem (or the width of the presser foot). Secure the seam neatly where the ends meet. Press with an iron.
