Lining pleat

An ease pleat folded at the bottom of the lining to prevent the lining from pulling the outer fabric.

Creating Lining Pleat

  1. Align the edges of the lining and facing pieces using the guide notches. Fold the extra fabric at the bottom of the lining into a pleat, as shown in the photo.
