Sequin removal
The process of clearing sequins from seam allowances before stitching to prevent needle breakage and bulky seams.
Where it is used
Pinning Shoulder Edges
p. 3- Pin the shoulder raw edges, folding the edges right sides together. If possible, remove sequins from the seam allowances.

Pinning Sleeves
p. 4- Pin the sleeves to the garment armhole, aligning the raw edges and notches, folding the pieces right sides together. If possible, remove sequins from the seam allowances.

Pinning Sleeve-Side Edges
p. 5- Pin the sleeve-side edges, aligning the raw edges and notches, folding the pieces right sides together. If possible, remove sequins from the allowances.

Preparing Collar Stand
p. 9- Pin the outer and inner stands along the upper edge, aligning the edges and folding the pieces right sides together. If possible, remove sequins from the seam allowances.
