Stitching wedge-shaped folds on the front and back panels to shape the jacket to the body.
Where it is used
Sewing the darts
p. 2- Sew the darts on the front piece and on the front lining.
Marking the dart seam allowance
p. 2- Mark the dart seam allowance cut line, keeping it parallel to the stitching and 1.0 cm away.
Sew Bust Darts
p. 4- Fold the front piece right sides together along the dart center marking, align the slanted marking lines, and pin in place. Sew the dart on the machine exactly along the marked line, starting at the dart base.
