Twin needle topstitching
A professional hemming technique that creates two parallel rows of stitching on the right side of the garment.

p. 8- Sew the hem using a twin needle on your sewing machine. Stitch from the right side of the sleeve. Where the stitching meets to form a circle, add a backstitch to secure it (if using a coverstitch machine, skip the backstitch). During sewing, your hand-basted stitches should be your guide—the basting line needs to run exactly between the two needles. Press with an iron.
Basting Hems
p. 6- Refresh the pressing of the seam allowances along the hem and sleeves (3 cm). Topstitch the hem and sleeve allowances using a twin needle. You can also secure the seam allowances with a zigzag stitch set to a frequency of 2–3 and a width of 3.5. Twin Needle Topstitching
p. 7- Stitch a line using a twin needle on your sewing machine. Sew the line on the right side of the sweater. Where the stitching forms a circle, secure it with a backstitch. During sewing, your hand-basted stitches should serve as a guide—make sure the basting goes perfectly between both needles. It's a good idea to test your stitch on a scrap piece first. On some machines, you may need to loosen the upper thread tension a bit to get a better result. Remove the basting stitches. Press the hems with an iron.
