Wet Heat Treatment
Pressing technique using heat, moisture/steam, and pressure to shape fabric and flatten seams.
Where it is used
Wet Heat Treatment (WHT)
p. 2- Wet heat treatment is performed using the tip of the iron with steam (if the material allows) and smoothed out with circular motions.

Final Pressing
p. 10- Give the garment a final pressing.

Final Pressing
p. 13- Press the collar lightly. Perform the final wet heat treatment (WHT) of the entire garment.

p. 9- Final pressing of the finished garment.

Pressing the darts (Wet Heat Treatment)
p. 2- Press the dart upwards. Carefully press the dart point flat using a suitable pressing ham or pressing cushion for WHT (Wet Heat Treatment). Wet heat treatment is performed using the tip of the iron with steam (if the material allows) and smoothed out with circular motions.

Buttonholes and final pressing
p. 6- Sew the buttonholes along the marked line using a special foot or by hand. Perform the final wet heat treatment (WHT) of the finished garment.
