Horsehair braid

A 10 cm wide stiff synthetic braid sewn into the hem to provide structure, volume, and support to the inverted pleats.

Where it is used

Attach the horsehair braid to the hem seam of the skirt, placing it from the skirt’s side. Overlap the ends of the braid by 2.0 cm. Seam allowance: 1.0 cm.
