The collar pattern piece.
Where it is used
Baste Inside Collar
p. 11- Smooth out the inside of the collar and baste it along the neckline edge, letting it overlap the collar seam by about 1 cm.
Folding Collar
p. 5- Fold the collar piece right sides together, aligning the short edges of the outer collar (collar point edges), and pin.
Marking Collar Seam Lines
p. 5- Mark the collar, measuring 0.7 cm from the edges until the intersection of the lines.
Pinning Collar to Neckline
p. 6- Pin the collar to the neckline, right sides together, aligning the control points.
Pressing the collar
p. 10- Press the collar lengthwise in half, with the wrong side facing in.
