Stitching the inner leg seams of the shorts legs together.
Where it is used
Finishing Waistband Open Edges
p. 6- Finish the short open edges of the waistband pieces with a serger, then stitch from the right side and press.

Sewing Inner Waistband
p. 7- Sew along the existing waistband seam. Trim allowances to 0.7 cm, press, and press the allowances up toward the top edge of the waistband.

Preparing Inner Waistband
p. 7- On one waistband piece (inner waistband), fold 0.8 cm of the lower seam allowance to the wrong side and press in place.

8. Sewing sleeves to armhole
p. 10- Sew the sleeves to the armhole and finish the edge at the same time on a 4-thread serger. Seam allowance: 0.7 cm.

Sew Back Center Seam
p. 3- Place the back pieces right sides together, align at the center edge, and pin to match up the guide points. Insert the pins parallel to the center edge, about 3–4 cm apart. This way, the pins won’t get caught by the serger blade. Sew the seam on the overlocker set to a 4-thread stitch. Stop about 2 cm before the start of the slit, as shown. Thread the overlock chain into a knit needle or hook and tuck it neatly between the layers of fabric. With your sewing machine, finish the seam exactly at the marked starting point of the slit, as shown in the photo.

Finish Slit Seam Allowances
p. 3- On the right side of the back pieces, mark the guide points by measuring 3–4 cm up from where the slit begins. Finish the seam allowances on a serger set to a 3-thread stitch, following the marked sections. Stitch from the right side of the fabric. Press with an iron.

Sew Left Shoulder Seam
p. 6- Stitch the LEFT shoulder seam of the dress with a serger. Sew from the back side. Press, then press the seam allowances toward the front.

Sewing Shoulder Seams
p. 3- Place the front and back pieces right sides together, aligning the shoulder edges. Pin in place from the back piece side. Use a serger set for four-thread stitching to sew the seam. Stitch from the back piece side.

Sewing Side and Underarm Seams
p. 9- Turn the dress inside out, matching up the side seams and sleeve edges, and pin in place. Sew together on the serger, stitching from the back side.

Finishing Raw Edges
p. 10- Try on the dress and decide on the length for both the dress and sleeves. Finish the lower edges of the dress and sleeves with a serger. Stitch from the right side. Press to set.

3. Sew lower sleeve seam
p. 4- Sew the lower sleeve seam, serge, and press.

7. Sew side seams
p. 5- Back 003 and Front 001 sew along the side seam. Overcast the seam, then press.
