Lining attachment
Sewing the lining fabric to the main vest and facings, leaving an opening to turn it right side out.
Where it is used
11. Pin outer top to lining
p. 4- Pin the outer top to the lining along the upper edge, matching the raw edges and side seams, with right sides facing each other.
16. Pin lower edge
p. 5- Place the lining and the top together with wrong sides facing. Pin the lower edge of the outer top to the lining edge, turning a small section so the right sides face inward. Pin the edges through the open section at the hem.
Preparing Waistline Lining
p. 17- Lay the jumpsuit with the wrong side facing you. The open edge of the bodice lining along the waistline should be turned under and pinned so that it looks as if this edge has been finished/processed.

Pinning Center Back to Lining
p. 11- Pin the raw edges of the center back seam to the lining raw edges at the upper section of the center back seam up to the end of the closure. Fold the raw edges right sides together.
Attaching Bottom Facing to Lining
p. 8- Align the lower edge of the lining with the top edge of the bottom facing, matching up the notches and placing right sides together. Pin in place. Stitch, leaving an opening at the center back (from and to the middle of the side panel) for turning the garment right side out.
Joining Outer Fabric and Lining
p. 10- Place the outer fabric and the lining right sides together. Align all edges and make sure the seams match up. Pin everything securely in place. Sew the lining along the edge of the garment, stopping about 3–4 cm short of the shoulder seams. Stitch around the armhole edges, again leaving 3–4 cm before reaching the shoulder seams. Join the edges at the back neckline, stopping 3–4 cm before the shoulder seams.
Turning Right Side Out
p. 13- Turn the vest right side out through the opening left in the lining and bottom facing seam.

p. 18- Pin the side seams of the lining, aligning the edges and placing right sides together.
32. Attach lining to the lapels and back facing
p. 19- Attach to the edge of the lapels and back facing lining. Allowance 1.0 cm.
34. Pin the bottom seam allowance
p. 20- Turn the garment inside out. Pin the bottom seam allowance of the garment to the lower edge of the lining and facing, aligning the edges and seams with the right sides together.
37. Turn the item right-side out
p. 22- Turn the item right-side out through the opening left in the side seam of the lining.
