Lining side seams
The seams connecting the front and back lining panels, containing an opening for turning.
Where it is used
Pinning the lining side seams
p. 3- Pin the side edges of the front lining and back lining together, matching the edges and placing right sides facing each other.
Pressing the lining side seams
p. 4- Press the side-seam allowance toward the front lining.
Sewing the lining side seams
p. 4- Sew the side seams of the front and back lining pieces, leaving a 4–5 cm opening in one side seam. Seam allowance: 0.7 cm.
Turning the top right-side out
p. 6- Turn the top right-side out through the opening left in the lining’s side seam.
Pinning Side Seams
p. 2- Place the front and back pieces right sides together, matching up the side edges, and pin them in place.
8. Pin lining side edges
p. 3- Pin the side edges of the front lining and back lining together, matching the edges and placing right sides facing each other.
10. Press lining side seams
p. 4- Press the side-seam allowance toward the front lining.
9. Sew lining side seams
p. 4- Sew the side seams of the front and back lining pieces, leaving a 4–5 cm opening in one side seam. Seam allowance: 0.7 cm.

p. 9- Sew the center seam of the lining up to the control mark, using a 1.0 cm seam allowance.

p. 9- Press the seam allowances of the lining’s side seam toward the back.
Preparing Lining Center Back
p. 5- Pin the raw edges of the lining center back seam together, aligning the raw edges and notches, folding right sides together.
Stitching Lining Center Back
p. 6- Place a control mark for the beginning of the closure in the upper part of the back, according to the marking on the pattern piece. Stitch the lining center back seam up to the control mark for the beginning of the closure. Seam allowance 1.0 cm.
