Neckline facing shaping
Using an iron to stretch and curve the neckline facing so it lies flat against the body.
Where it is used
Pressing Neckline Facing
p. 4- Press the neckline facing in half lengthwise, with the wrong sides together.

Stitching Neckline Facing
p. 4- Open up the facing along the pressed fold, then fold it right sides together, matching the short edges. Stitch with a 0.7 cm seam allowance. Press the seam, then press the seam allowances open.

Shaping Neckline Facing
p. 4- Shape the facing with an iron, giving it a gentle curve. To do this, lightly stretch the raw edge of the neckline while pressing along the fold line.

Attaching Neckline Facing
p. 5- Attach the facing using an overlock machine, stitching along the edge of the facing. Press with an iron, then fold the seam allowances toward the shirt and press them flat.
