V-neck corner notch
A small 0.4 cm cut made at the center front neckline to allow clean pivoting and alignment at the V-point.
Where it is used
Notching Armhole Curves
p. 18- Add notches to the seam allowance when rounding the armhole facing.
Notching Front Neckline
p. 5- Make a small notch, about 0.4 cm long, in the center of the neckline front.
Pinning Entire Neckline
p. 5- Pin the entire facing to the neckline, using the notches as a guide. For best results, pin the facing from the sweater side so you can keep an eye on the V-neck corner as you sew.
