Concealed zipper
An invisible zipper used for a clean, professional closure at the back of the dress.
Where it is used
Step 6: Sew the waistband to the bodice and to the skirt
p. 12- Sew the belt first to the bodice, then to the skirt. Afterwards, add a zipper along the back, starting from the collar and ending at a length that is comfortable for you (usually 20 cm below the waist).
18. Attaching Horsehair Braid
p. 10- Attach the horsehair braid to the hem seam of the skirt, placing it from the skirt’s side. Overlap the ends of the braid by 2.0 cm. Seam allowance: 1.0 cm.
21 & 22. Turning & Pressing
p. 14- Turn the skirt right side out through the opening left in the side seam of the lining. Press the sewn invisible zipper, smoothing out the seam allowances.
