Single-sided zipper foot
A sewing machine foot designed to stitch very close to zipper teeth or bulky edges, ideal for lining attachment.
Where it is used
Sew Right Zipper
p. 8- Sew the zipper in place using a single-sided presser foot on your sewing machine, keeping a 1.0 cm seam allowance from the edge of the zipper tape.

Sew Left Zipper
p. 9- Sew the zipper in place using a sewing machine with a single presser foot; keep the stitch line 1.0 cm from the edge of the zipper tape.

Stitch Hem Allowance Ends
p. 10- Turn the hem allowance to the right side, with the zipper tape inside. Pin in place. Sew on the sewing machine with a 1.0 cm seam allowance, using a single-toe presser foot. Press to finish.

Wrap and Stitch Collar Ends
p. 10- Wrap the zipper around the collar piece, making sure the zipper tape is evenly aligned on the inside. Pin the short ends and tape edges with pins. Stitch on a sewing machine with a 1.0 cm seam allowance using a single-toe presser foot. Press to set the seam.

Sewing the first zipper side
p. 14- Sew the zipper tape to the right edge of the closure using a single presser foot. The seam allowance should be 1.0 cm from the zipper tape edge and 0.7 cm from the closure edge of the front panel.

Step 28: Stitching elastic to lining
p. 11- Sew and serge the elastic to the lower edge of the lining at the same time, using a 4-thread overlock. Stretch the elastic as you work. Allow a seam allowance of 0.7 cm.

15.16. Stitch zipper tape to left front
p. 19- Stitch one side of the zipper tape to the zipper opening edge on the left pant front, using a single-toe zipper foot. Seam allowance 1.0 cm.

Sewing Zipper Tape
p. 21- Sew one side of the zipper tape to the overcast seam allowance of the center seam using a special presser foot for an invisible zipper. Allowance: 1.0 cm.

Stitching Second Side of Zipper
p. 23- Stitch the other side of the zipper tape using a special foot for attaching invisible zippers, moving the zipper slider as you sew.

Stitching First Zipper Side
p. 15- Attach the invisible zipper foot to the sewing machine. Turn the zipper teeth and place them under the foot so that the teeth are positioned to the left of the needle, in the groove of the foot. Stitch the zipper, starting the stitching from the upper stopper and finishing 2–3 mm before the lower control point. Secure the stitching with backstitches at the beginning and end.

Stitching Back Lining to Zipper
p. 16- View from the back lining side. Turn the 1 cm allowance along the bottom edge of the back lining as shown in the photo. Stitch on the sewing machine, using a single-sided zipper foot, as close as possible to the zipper teeth. Use backstitches (reinforcement).

Stitching First Zipper Side
p. 15- Attach the invisible zipper foot to the sewing machine. Turn the zipper teeth and place them under the foot so that the teeth are positioned to the left of the needle, in the groove of the foot. Stitch the zipper, starting the stitching from the upper stopper and finishing 2–3 mm before the lower control point. Secure the stitching with backstitches at the beginning and end.
