Side seams
The seams that connect the front and back panels of the skirt.
Where it is used
Pinning Side Seams
p. 2- Place the front and back pieces right sides together, matching up the side edges, and pin them in place.

3. Pinning side seams
p. 5- Pin the side seams together, matching the edges and notches, with right sides facing.

Stitching Side Seams
p. 6- Similar to the back, stitch the shoulder and side seams using a French seam. It is important to ensure that the allowances are enclosed within the stitching so they do not protrude on the right side. Press the side seam allowances toward the back.

Pinning Side Edges
p. 9- Pin the side edges together, matching the edges with the right sides facing each other.

Sewing Side Edges
p. 9- Sew the side edges together. Seam allowance is 1.0 cm.

Pressing Side Seams
p. 9- Press the seam allowances of the side seams toward the back-piece.
