Twin needle hemming
An alternative method of finishing knit hems using a twin needle on a standard sewing machine.
Where it is used
Finishing the Sleeve Hem
p. 1- Finish the sleeve hem using a coverstitch machine or a twin needle. As you sew, make sure the basting line sits exactly between the two needles. Press to set the stitches.
Finishing Bottom Hem
p. 6- Hem the bottom of the T-shirt using a coverstitch machine, or a twin needle if you prefer. As you sew, make sure the basting line stays centered between the two needles. Press to finish.
